Habib Jalib Memorial Foundation
Habib Jalib Memorial Foundation
Echoing truth, resistance, and revolutionary hope through every verse.
Habib Jalib stood as a fearless symbol of truth, resistance, and dignity. Through powerful poetry and public defiance, he became the conscience of a nation. This Foundation carries his legacy forward — in verse, vision, and action.
Guardian of a Revolutionary Legacy
Nasir Jalib is the son of renowned poet and political activist Habib Jalib, and a steadfast custodian of his father’s powerful legacy. As a writer, social worker, and political voice in his own right, Nasir Jalib has dedicated his life to preserving and promoting the ideals of justice, equality, and resistance that his father fearlessly championed.
Serving as a key figure in the Habib Jalib Foundation, Nasir Jalib continues to amplify the message of the oppressed through public engagements, literary preservation, and grassroots activism. He has authored the biographical book “Habib Jalib: Pas-e-Manzar”, a moving and insightful account of Jalib’s life, struggles, and unwavering commitment to the people of Pakistan.
More than a son upholding a memory, Nasir Jalib is a living echo of Habib Jalib’s poetic resistance — a voice that reminds us that silence is not an option in the face of injustice.
